Privacy & terms.

Short, because there's genuinely little to disclose. Wallpapify is a static site with no backend of its own — the architecture is the privacy policy.

Your images

Images you open in the studio are read directly by your browser using local file APIs. They are never transmitted — not to us (we have no application server to receive them), not to any third party. Editing and export happen in your device's memory. Close the tab and they're gone.

Exports also strip metadata by construction: wallpapers are rendered pixel-by-pixel onto a fresh canvas, so EXIF data from the original file (GPS location, camera model, timestamps) never reaches the exported image.

What we collect

Nothing, personally. No accounts exist. We set no cookies. We run no analytics scripts, advertising pixels or fingerprinting of any kind on these pages.

  • Local storage: the studio remembers small preferences (your selected device, export format) in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your machine and you can clear it any time via your browser settings.
  • Server logs: the web host that serves these static files keeps standard technical logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent) for security and capacity purposes, as virtually all web hosting does. That host is Hostinger, acting as our processor: HOSTINGER, UAB (company code 302710386, Švitrigailos str. 34, LT-03230 Vilnius, Lithuania) and its affiliates, including Hostinger International Ltd, based in Cyprus. Its privacy policy, read on 9 September 2026, states that it handles personal data under the GDPR and that transfers outside the EU or EEA run under the European Commission's approved standard contractual clauses. Our legal basis is legitimate interest in running and securing the site (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), the logs are kept only for the host's standard rotation, and we don't use them to identify or profile anyone.

Two places on this site carry clearly labelled partner links. The section of the guide about finding images links to the stock library Depositphotos, and the printing advice on the studio page links to two print shops, CanvasChamp and Art to Frames. In every case the free route is described first and at greater length, each link is marked as a partner link, and each carries a rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute. If you follow one and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Each is a plain outbound link and nothing else. No script, pixel, iframe or cookie from any of those companies is loaded into this site, and we send them nothing about you or your images; the content-security policy on these pages blocks third-party requests outright. Their reporting tells us only anonymous totals, such as how many clicks a page sent, never who clicked. Follow one and you are on their site, under their privacy practices.

Your rights

The controller for the little data described above is the operator identified in the imprint. Under the GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. The operator is established in Lithuania, so the lead authority is the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija, vdai.lrv.lt); you may also complain to the authority where you live.

In practice there is almost nothing here to exercise those rights against: we hold no account, no profile and no copy of your images, and the only personal data touching this service is the host's transient access log. Your localStorage is under your own control and we cannot read it. If you think we hold something about you — past email correspondence, for instance — write to the address in the imprint and it will be resolved.

If this ever changes

If we ever add privacy-relevant features (for example cookieless, aggregate visit counting), this page will say so plainly before they go live. We will never add anything that uploads your images.

Terms of use

  • Your content, your responsibility. Process only images you own or have the right to use. What you make is yours; Wallpapify claims no rights over your images or exports.
  • Generated wallpapers from the generator are produced procedurally on your device. Use them freely, personally or commercially, no attribution required.
  • Partner links never steer the tools. Nothing the studio, the generator or the size chart computes or recommends is influenced by a partner, and the free option is always named first. See partner links above.
  • No warranty. The tools are provided as-is, free of charge. We aim for pixel-exactness and test broadly, but you use the output at your own judgement.
  • Reference data (the size chart) is compiled carefully from manufacturer specifications but may contain errors; verify against your device's spec sheet for critical work.

Operator

This site is operated by the person identified in the imprint, which carries the full record: legal name, correspondence address, direct email and VAT number. Those details live in that one file so they cannot drift apart between pages, and the terms above are that operator's terms.
